New Chairman of Economic Development Division

Rebekah Maxwell, Chair of the Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce, and Josh Smith, Past Chairman, are pleased to announce that Chris Fisher, President and CEO of the Port of Beaumont, has agreed to Chair the Chamber’s Economic Development Division for this coming fiscal year starting on October 1. The Chamber’s Economic Development Division will focus on recruiting new businesses, helping existing businesses grow and expand, working on developing the talent pipeline, and assisting in helping launch new start-ups and micro businesses.

Board Chair, Rebekah Maxwell said, “We are excited Chris has agreed to Chair the Chamber’s Economic Development Division. Chris brings a wealth of contacts, relationships, and know-how to the table. We are fortunate to have Chris in our community and involved in the Chamber.”

The Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce is a catalyst for growth and expansion and is leading the economic development efforts in Beaumont.
