Port of Beaumont
Beaumont, Texas – The Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the City of Beaumont, is launching a new program called “Focus on Business,” which aims to highlight major employers and economic drivers in the community. The first installment of the program will focus on the Port of Beaumont, a critical player in the local economy.
The Port of Beaumont is a major contributor to the success of the Beaumont community, and the Chamber of Commerce is proud to honor and recognize their contribution. On Thursday, April 27th, the Port Director Chris Fisher will give a 20-minute overview of everything happening at the Port, and Beaumont Mayor Robin Mouton will also present a proclamation, announcing Thursday, April 27th as “Port of Beaumont Day.”
The press is invited to attend the lunch honoring the port, which will be held at the MCM Elegante at 12 noon on Thursday, April 27th. The event will provide an opportunity to network with local business leaders, elected officials and to learn more about the Port of Beaumont operations and their impact on the community.
“We are thrilled to launch our new Focus on Business program with a tribute to the Port of Beaumont,” said Steve Ahlenius, President and CEO of the Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce. The Port is a vital economic driver for our community, and we are proud to honor their contributions.”
